What Do Your Customers Want?

Think Like a Customer

This can sometimes be a hard thing to determine. Customers are so picky and needy, you’ll have been one yourself at some point. But making sure they’re happy should always be your main goal. They’re the reason why you’re going to become successful in the future. But what can you do to make sure they’re happy? What is it that they actually want? Well, it doesn’t vary much, each customer pretty much wants the same thing, this article is here to outline a few of them.

Friendly Service

This should be a must with any business, but unfortunately a lot of people don’t seem to stick to it. If you’re having a stressful day and life is just getting you down, it can be so easy to reflect this on the way you treat your customers. But this is the last thing you’re going to want to do. They’re so easily offended, and can so easily spread a bad reputation around about your business. As much as possible, you need to be able to always put on a happy front and serve your customers with a smile. We all know how horrible it can feel to be treated badly by someone, so don’t let it be you doing it to your customers.

Quality Product

This is a given, yet a lot of companies don’t seem to have the capabilities of sticking to this either. They choose the cheap product over actually producing something of top quality. This is only going to annoy the people you’re serving. For example, the packaging plays a big part in attracting a customer in. If you’re selling things that are sold through a supermarket, stand up pouch packaging needs to be bold, attractive, and at the very least, long lasting. You need to make sure it isn’t going to break or tear after a few minutes of the customer having it. What’s inside also plays the biggest part. It needs to have the best materials used, and always be a cut above your competitors.

Freebies

Everyone loves something free. It is literally the best marketing technique to keep people coming back for more. We all know how easy it is to go for something in the shops because it says buy one get one free. So, if you’re using this tactic you’re obviously going to keep your customers happy. Even if your business isn’t run on the shop floor, you can still easily do it if you’re online. All you need to do is offer them some form of incentive that keeps them coming back for more. Even knocking the price down a little is going to make them happy. Customers love a bargain, so the more that you’re displaying, the more chance you have of beating your competitors.

Those are just a few of the things your customers are going to be expecting from you on a daily basis. If you want to always make sure that you’re keeping them happy, you should try and at least stick to the three tips listed above.
