1976 Swine Flu Scare

In the 1970s the US Government scared the population with propaganda about the swine flu. It all started when on February 6, 1976 a United States army recruit at Fort Dix died a day after exhibiting symptoms of the flu. Within weeks health officials declared a National State of Emergency and began to implement a mass vaccination program. It was announced that the H1N1 flu strain was the cause of the soldier’s death. His was the only death by the H1N1 strain, all other casualties who were killed or seriously injured fell victim to the side effects of inoculation by government propaganda.
